Thuraya IP offers a compact and robust high bandwidth data terminal,
capabable
of an always on IP service running at 444 kbps or the
impressive streaming class
service offering 384 kbps. There is also a TCP
accelerator available to help
optmize the service you receive. Now even the most
remote locations will seem as
though they are at the heart of a city.
Thuraya IP's ideal application is in remote areas where a user
may require a
high bandwidth service to send information back to base such as
store and forward
videos or even to do a live video conference. Alternatively the
service can be
used to provide data for a remote field office that needs to send
sample data
back to base.
