Model 9601-DG is a 9601-D-N with a built-in GPS receiver. Both the Iridium RF board and GPS receiver are controlled by a DTE using AT and extended AT GPS commands. Model 9601-DG has the same DB25 multi-interface male connector as on the A3LA series and, therefore, can be retrofitted into existing SBD only applications that utilize the A3LA-based products. The 9601-DG has been certified to MIL-STD-810F standards for temperature, humidity, altitude, rain, shock, sand, dust and salt fog.
